ENERGY AUDIT
The energy audit service involves two types of energy audit procedures, namely: Type 1 (Walk-Through Audit or WTA) and Type 2 (Energy Diagnosis). The third type of energy audit, which is the Investment Grade Audit (IGA), can be done separately if the customer intends to make huge investment in energy efficiency projects.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT
ENERGY SAVINGS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
UTILITY BILLING ANALYSIS
Electricity billing analysis is a comprehensive and detailed review of the customer’s historical electricity bills from the previous twelve (12) months to detect meter reading errors, rates that are not in accordance with the service contract, metering misapplications by the utility, clerical errors in bill computations and incorrect factors applied by the utility. The billing review service shall cover evaluation of energy usage, energy demand, contracted capacity and utility rate structure. Through this activity, we can help identify zero-cost saving opportunities that would lower electricity cost.
POWER PROCUREMENT FOR
END-USERS
Our experts review and evaluate Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) covering all commercial and technical terms between seller (Generation Companies or Retail Electricity Suppliers) and buyer of electricity (End-User or Customer). This consultation service include analysis of the electricity consumption profile, matching of optimal supply profile (baseload, load following or peaking), and determining the most appropriate tariff structure that will provide least possible cost to customers. Other non-price items such as outages, force majeure events, replacement power and operating protocols are also reviewed to ensure reliability and quality of power supply.
ENERGY LOAD PROFILING & ANALYTICS
Energy-load profiling and analytics provides a better understanding of energy consumption behavior of customers. Knowledge of consumption patterns will help guide customers in identifying appropriate strategies to reduce energy cost and effectively implement energy efficiency programs and Demand Side Management
(DSM). This will also help customers accurately forecast future energy requirements.
TRAINING PROGRAM
The following list of training program aims to educate employees and help companies build a culture that will
support innovation, sustainability and business competitiveness:
- • How to Comply with RA 11285: Energy Efficiency and Conservation Law
- • How to Prepare Energy Consumption Reports (RA 11285 Compliance for Industrial/Commercial Sector)
- • How to Prepare Energy Consumption Reports (RA 11285 Compliance for Industrial/Commercial Sector)
- • Demystifying ISO 50001: Energy Management System
- • Developing Energy Efficiency Programs
DISTRIBUTION UTILITIES (DU) CONSULTING SERVICES
SYSTEM LOSS MANAGEMENT
Our seasoned experts will provide guidance in strategic planning, energy loss accounting, evaluation, analysis, loss targeting and goal setting, developing and operationalizing appropriate loss reduction measures. Our experts have been involved successfully in reducing losses of the largest distribution utility in the Philippines.

CAPEX PLANNING
Our experts help craft CAPEX plan applications with the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) that follows the Utility
Planning Manual, ensure that all projects are timely, appropriate, necessary, and cost-efficient; and that capital projects are consistent with relevant government regulations such as the Distribution Development Plan (DDP), Philippine Grid Code (PGC), Philippine Distribution Code (PDC), and other relevant government issuances.
TECHNICAL STUDIES
Our utility experts can conduct Distribution Impact Study (DIS) and Distribution Asset Study (DAS) for Embedded Generators (Conventional and VRE). The DIS refers to a set of technical studies which are used to assess the possible effects of a proposed expansion, reinforcement, or modification of the distribution system or a user development and to evaluate significant incidents. The DAS is performed to determine all required distribution assets
and costs necessary to accommodate the proposed interconnection of an Embedded Generators (EG) to a distribution system.
TRAINING PROGRAM
The following list of training program aims to educate employees and help companies build a culture that will support innovation, sustainability and business competitiveness:
- • Power Quality Solutions
- • System Loss Management
- • Understanding Power Purchase Agreement
- • Carry out the annual maintenance program
ELECTRICAL SERVICES
THERMOGRAPHIC INSPECTION
We identify abnormal or unexpected thermal patterns or temperature differentials in the electrical and mechanical
systems of a facility through a non-contact and non-destructive inspection method. Findings can be used to identify and prioritize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
ELECTRICAL-AS-BUILT PLAN
We craft electrical as-built plans (single line diagram) for customer electrical facility. As-built plans help document any changes made during construction of the facilities or other revisions that may have been performed. Updated electrical as-built plans are crucial for troubleshooting, efficient operation, and future expansion of customer electrical
facility.
POWER SYSTEM ANALYSIS
Our seasoned experts will provide guidance in strategic planning, energy loss accounting, evaluation, analysis, loss targeting and goal setting, developing and operationalizing appropriate loss reduction measures. Our experts have been involved successfully in reducing losses of the largest distribution utility in the Philippines.
POWER QUALITY SOLUTIONS
We assess the power quality of electrical facility by recording and analyzing actual electrical parameters to enhance power supply and equipment compatibility. Power quality assessment and investigation are key activities to help better protect equipment, enhance performance, extend equipment life, and most importantly ensure good power quality. Our experienced Energy Specialists will help industrial and commercial customers determine root cause(s) of equipment and process downtimes, recommend solutions, and implement cost effective and practical solutions.
CAPACITOR BANK TESTING AND ASSESSMENT
Capacitor bank testing and assessment is performed to determine the health and status of existing capacitor banks in the customer facility. Results of the assessment will show the necessary and cost effective rehabilitation or upgrade required to reach a target power factor improvement and associated costs.
GROUNDING SYSTEM AUDIT
We ensure that proper grounding system is in place for end-user’s facility. Proper grounding is essential to the safe and satisfactory performance of a power system. Proper grounding ensures [1] low-impedance path for the return of fault currents, so that an overcurrent protection device can quickly clear the circuit, [2] low potential difference between exposed metal parts to avoid personnel hazards, and [3] voltage control.
ELECTRICAL FACILITY MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
Depending on the type of commercial and industrial customers, we can develop, design and implement a maintenance program to meet the business needs and requirements of the facilities. This maintenance program will ensure the adequacy, reliability, efficiency and quality of power supply to electrical equipment and facilities.
Scope of Work
- • Field audit and survey of electrical facilities
- • Creation of As-built Single Line Diagram, if necessary
- • Development and design of a wholistic annual maintenance program
- • Carry out the annual maintenance program
